Well, Gwen has only had a passing acquaintance with Reinette at CH, but she's definitely come to her own conclusions. At first, she wasn't really sure what to make of Reinette, but from their limited interaction she knows that Reinette has a particularly strong presence. In a way, she's the type of woman that Gwen is generally a bit intimidated by; on the other hand, Gwen has a great deal of developing respect for her, now knowing that she knew the Doctor and has probably had - and handled with grace - similar experiences to her own.

I would venture to say, once she got to know Reinette better and wasn't so intimidated by her, she would probably consider Reinette a great friend and a useful ally. I also think Gwen will find she can learn a great deal from Reinette, too.

Yay Sam!

Well, they did only meet once, but my, it was a doozy!

Sam is definitely someone Gwen is interested in getting to know better. She knows whatever he "does" is probably similar to what Torchwood specialises in, so she's of course eager to hear more about what "strange" things he's encountered and compare and contrast interests.

On a more personal level, Sam definitely has proved himself in Gwen's eyes. He took on a killer unicorn, probably saved Tony, Sally, and Gwen from getting severely injured or even killed, and he managed to do it all with a level head even when extremely wounded. These are all traits that Gwen has not only come to respect but prefer in friends and allies, and she feels like being stuck in the situation they are in is at least made slightly the better by having people like Sam around. He's definitely someone she already would want on her team, which should speak volumes about how much she already respects and trusts him.

Oh, Gwen loves Rose!

Though she never really got to talk to her, Gwen knows whatever Rose, Jack, the Doctor, and the rest of Team TARDIS did was what bailed them out of that pretty sticky situation with the daleks. Knowing Jack, Gwen feels like she has an idea of the type of person the Doctor takes along with him, and of course Rose's friendliness towards her helped in Gwen developing a bit of a soft spot for this kid she never really got to meet. In a way, the Doctor's companions are a bit like Gwen's celebrities - sort of mythical people that do amazing things she can still only dream about. So to get to meet, and better yet even be recognized by Rose was a bit of a thrill for Gwen.

At CH, Gwen feels even more connected to Rose because Rose was the first familiar face she bumped into. She considered Rose immediately an ally, and won't waver on that count. She also finds Rose to have an incredible amount of energy and be very welcoming, so she's certainly interested in seeing her again and getting to know her more!

Oh, Jack.

Gwen loves Jack, but that love has seen a large transition through the years they've worked together. At first, it was based more on the fact that he was an enigma; a mystery Gwen craved to solved. After that, it evolved into what Gwen perceived as a more romantic love; for a while, she was sure Jack was the man for her. But now, it has settled into a very comfortable love that is friendship. Jack is her best friend, and sometimes as little as she knows about his past, she still feels she knows him very well and, better yet, feels he knows her better than most anyone. She trusts him implicitly, and honestly feels he can do no wrong. In a way, she feels she owes him for that, for all the times she feels she's done wrong by him and he's always stood by her.

Most of all, though, Gwen honestly wants Jack to be happy. He's hard a hard lot, and though Gwen feels she has a certain claim to him being his BFF and his second, she still knows he will never really be hers. So she is happy to let him do his own thing, even though it kills her to know that he won't always be around for her.

.....awww, Gwen. I think that, well, if things had been different, Jack would have been happy to stay with Gwen. I don't even mean in a romantic sense, though there is always the chance for that. Just....being there for her and having her, in turn, be there for him.

Gwen is utterly fascinated by the Doctor. She finds him to be quirky, friendly, excitable; in a way, he's sort of a celebrity to her. Very mythical in his own way, and she's oddly fascinated and slightly put off by him. She doesn't really understand his interest in Earth, but she's thankful for it, though she is really plagued by the realization that he won't always be there to ride in on a white horse and save the world from disaster.

This isn't so much a disappointment to her as a forced understanding that regardless of his past actions and his seemingly endless power, he can only do so much for the human race. So thinking about him causes duality in her mind; on the one hand, she hopes Earth will always have a strong ally in the Doctor. On the other, she knows that part of her responsibility as a member of Torchwood is to fill in when the Doctor won't be there to save him. Especially after the events in CoE, Gwen knows that she should look at the Doctor more as an example of what she should do, rather than a crutch to turn to whenever the Earth is in peril.

Oh Handy~

Gwen totally has a thing for Handy. First off, he looks like the Doctor, which is a definite plus because it's sort of like having a friend that looks like Brad Pitt if you're, like, a normal person that doesn't catch aliens for a living. Secondly, he has amazing taste like What Not to Wear and Wife Swap, so Gwen knows he must be a good man. Finally, he actually returns her phone calls which is one up from Jack so she can't help but feel like he has some interest in her, too.

On the other hand, he also lives in a different universe. This distresses her because she wants to shag watch reality TV with him, but at the same time, it's a comfort because she should be shagging watching reality TV with Rhys. So really, right now, Gwen looks at him for complete BFF potential. He makes her laugh, helps her waste time when she's bored, and generally makes her feel better about life.
