Strictly Christmas Special for [livejournal.com profile] handysparehand

I'm spoiling the Doctor for the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special, so it by some radioactive alien quarantine reason you've not watched it yet... don't read this post!

This is really the only bit worth watching...

'Course, was totally gutted when the results came in. Well good if this was who you liked, because I'm not linking any other dances. Tom and Camilla did a really rubbish bit to Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer, oh and Jill and Darren won.

Maybe if someone stopped leaving their mobile at Top Shop and sorted out their license, I wouldn't have to drudge through youtube at work look up things on this slow connection at home! Because, of course, I would never look up Strictly Come Dancing clips when there's weevils running about the city, would I?

Please tell me Brian won in your universe. Please.

Jill and Darren! Really? But.... Yeah, I guess that was bound to happen. Still, though, those two!?!?

I'll have you know those things were beyond my control. Well mostly beyond my control. But really, can't we just leave the past in the past? Such as odd notions that you look up reality television clips while on the job. This would be ridiculous and completely out of the question, as we both know.

I still need to tune in here, I'm still without a few resources, and I won't let anyone tell me the results until I see it. Hopefully there is justice in some worlds. Hopefully.

I did see it coming, unfortunately. Rhys even voted, and he rarely does so. I was so disappointed. More disappointed as when I tried to talk about it to Jack and Ianto and they looked at me like I'd grown a second head. I don't know what they were doing Christmas, but it wasn't watching telly apparently.

How is not leaving your mobile at Top Shop beyond your control, exactly?

You must tell me as soon as you know! I have to believe their is justice in some universe, even if it's not mine!

What else would a person be doing on Christmas day? Well, I wasn't, but again, I - well, I didn't. Which I'm still disappointed about. Next Christmas, I'm leaving it up to you to make sure I'm planted in front of a television watching.

The mobile, it was beyond my control! It...just....it was, all right!

Of course. I'm preparing myself for disappointment, but a small part of me needs to believe this, too

You'd best count on it! Though which universe it's in may be up for debate. I haven't exactly explained to Rhys I have a friend from a parallel universe... he's handling everything with Torchwood so well, I don't think he can take another hit. His head might explode.

Right. Okay. I am sure the tops were threatening you and you had to run for your life, then?

Sadly, I think what it comes down to is the universe just isn't fair.
